Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by Box Life Moving Company ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

We provide residential and commercial moving services, packing, load/unload, junk removal, appliance delivery, senior moves, in-house moving, garage cleanup, and heavy item moving within a 250-mile radius of Madison, Wisconsin. All services are subject to availability, scheduling, and written or verbal agreement.

3. Estimates and Pricing

Quotes provided are estimates based on the information you supply. Final charges may vary based on actual time, distance, items moved, and conditions encountered (stairs, long carries, weather, parking, etc.). You will be notified of material changes whenever practical.

4. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, major credit cards, and approved electronic payments. Late payments may incur additional fees.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Please provide at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less notice may be subject to a fee to cover crew and scheduling costs.

6. Customer Responsibilities

• Provide accurate inventory and access information.
• Disclose hazardous, perishable, or high-value items in advance.
• Ensure clear and legal access at pickup and delivery locations.
• Be available (or designate an authorized representative) during the move.

7. Liability and Claims

We exercise reasonable care with your belongings. Our liability for loss or damage is limited as permitted by applicable Wisconsin and federal law. Claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the move. We are not liable for items packed by the customer (PBO), pre-existing damage, items of extraordinary value not declared in advance, or damage caused by ordinary wear and tear.

8. Prohibited Items

We do not transport hazardous materials, firearms, ammunition, illegal substances, perishable food, live animals, or items prohibited by law.

9. Discounts and Promotions

Military and senior discounts and other promotional offers are subject to verification and may not be combined unless explicitly stated. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotions at any time.

10. Communications

By providing your contact information, you consent to receive service-related calls, texts, and emails from us. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dane County, Wisconsin.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
